Anonymous West Point Republican (1935)

Mr. Cejda had suffered a lengthy illness and had spent some time in a hospital in Omaha some months ago. During the latter part of his illness he was cared for at the family home, his daughter, Miss Matilda, a registered nurse, of Omaha, spending much time here assisting in his care. The cause of his death was lymphatic Lucemia.

Anonymous West Point Republican (1935)

Frank Cejda was born August 7, 1862 at Mileosko, county of Tabor, Bohemia, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cejda. He was brought to America in 1867 where the family settled in Wisconsin. In 1870 they came to West Point and took up a homestead in Colfax county near Howells in 1872.
He received his early schooling in the West Point public schools. He was married at Olean in 1885 to Miss Mary Parr who passed away several years later. One child, Anna, sister of M. Agnella, was born to this union.
