“ I started from Kirtland on the 17th of May last, in company with brothers Joseph Young and Elijah Reed, and traveled east as far as Whitesborough, Oneida co. N. Y. there I separated from them and traveled into Washington co. N. Y.; there I labored for a short time, and in the edge of Vt. and baptized two. I then left the place and falling in company with brother J. Young we continued our course to the east for the express purpose of visiting our friends, which we had anticipated doing with deep interest. ”
