George John Dupuis, educated at Eton and at King’s College, Cambridge, B.A. 18 19, M.A. 1822, Fellow of his College, Rector successively of Hemingby, Creeting, and Worplesdon from 1831 to his death in 1878; he began his career as a master at Eton.
