Sharpstein, district attorney of the United States, made oath before Judge Miller, judge of the district court, that he delivered the writ of error to Lafayette Kellogg, Esq., clerk of the supreme court of Wisconsin, at his office in Madison, on the 30th of May, 1855. ”
