“ Yesterday a slave came to me in the middle of the night, and told me that he had seen a young man in the seraglio: I rose, inquired into the matter, and found it had been a vision. I kiss your feet, most noble lord; and beg you to confide in my zeal, my experience, and my old age. The Seraglio at Ispahan, the 5th of the first moon of Gemmadi, 1718. ”
