Obituary: Henry Brougham Leech (1921)
“ Mr. Leech wrote much on legal questions and also on Irish politics. Like most his generation, he was a pronounced Unionist, as his pamphlet on "The Continuity of the Irish Revolutionary Movement" and his letters to The Times on Irish taxation demonstrated. The Irish Bar has always been noted for its social qualities, and in the Dublin Law Library, until his retirement, Brougham Leech was well known for his fund of anecdote and his genial and hospitable activities. He married in 1875 a daughter of Mr. William Garbois, of Dublin, and had five sons and one daughter. ”
