Summary

Obituary: Mr. B. B. Woodward (1930)

His own work was chiefly among the mollusca, especially British mollusca, and the trustees of the British Museum published two books by him upon the British species of Pisidium and upon British freshwater mollusca respectively. A more popular work on the life of mollusca came from his pen shortly before the War. Mr. Woodward's services to science were recognized by his election as a Fellow of the Linnean Geological, and Royal Microscopical Societies, and he was for some years president of the Malacological Society.
