“ Validation of certain sittings of provincial councils. 2. Any sitting held by a provincial council after the thirty-first day of May, 1961, but before the commencement of this Act, for which the time was not fixed as provided by sub-section (1) of section seventy-two of the principal Act, shall be deemed to have been a sitting in the course of a session which was resumed in pursuance of a resolution contemplated in sub-section (2) of that section. ”
