Portal:Acts of the Parliament of South Africa Royal Style and Titles Act, 1948 (1948)

The Governor-General may declare, by proclamation in the Gazette, that the Royal Style and Titles may be amended by the omission in the Latin version of the words “Indiae Imperator”, and in the English version of the words “Emperor of India”, with effect from the fifteenth day of August, 1947.
Short title. 2. This Act shall be called the Royal Style and Titles Act, 1948.
