“ Short title, and date of operation of section 1. 3. This Act may be cited as the South Africa Act Amendment Act, 1935, and section one shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of January, 1935: Provided that no member of Parliament shall during the calendar year 1935 receive a less amount in allowance than he would have received if this Act had not been passed. ”
