He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: (Luke 1:32) .
130. Will Christ, then, yet occupy the throne of David? Answer: He will. At his second coming, he will sit on his throne, and reign in Jerusalem as king of the Jews and ruler of all mankind.
Proof:
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (Matt. 25:31) . ”
