Summary

Various Ante-Nicene Fathers Vol. IX, The Epistles of Clement… (1885)

He was exposed to labour, and stripes, and affliction. But He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we were healed.
