Miss Keith is a graduate of the San Francisco girls' high school and early resolved to become an author, her first published work appearing at the age of thirteen. Under the pen-name "Di Vernon" she has acted as special writer for the "Alta Californian, "San Francisco "Chronicle," "Examiner" and "Call," as well as the "News Letter"; is special correspondent of the San Francisco " Recorder-Union, and writes also for the "Journalist," "Kate Fields Washington," "Good Housekeeping " and many other periodicals. She is especially interested in all subjects pertaining to women.
