Woman of the Century — Mary Scott (1893)

In January, 1889, she became editor and proprietor of the "Woman's Journal." the organ of the Dominion Woman's Christian Temperance Union. Her literary work has been confined to stories and descriptions of travel for Canadian papers. She is an earnest advocate for the prohibition of the liquor traffic and uses all the weapons at her command. Her home is in Ottawa.
