“ Crimelibrary reports that Belli widely publicized his contact with the Zodiac Killer - which of course doesn't 100% prove beyond any doubt that the letter was published in the newspapers, but I think it's a safe presumption that Belli released the letter in his attempts for publicity, in 1969, meaning it would also qualify for {{PD-US-no-notice}}.
