“ The Provincial Councillors elected in the constituencies of the Amphoes stated in Clause 1 shall become the Yasothon Provincial Councillors. And within thirty days from the coming into force of this Announcement of the Revolutionary Council, the Minister of Interior shall appoint the persons completely qualified under the law on provincial councillors to fill the vacant seats in the Yasothon Provincial Council pursuant to the law concerned. ”

“ Whereas the Revolutionary Council entertains an opinion that, due to the vastness of Changwat Ubon Ratchathani and the increasing number of its citizens, it is, for the sake of the public administration and facilitation, improve the territory of Changwat Ubon Ratchathani by having certain Amphoes separated therefrom to constitute Changwat Yasothon ”
