“ Whereas it is found that there are persons born in the Kingdom of Thailand to the alien fathers or mothers who unlawfully stayed in the Kingdom of Thailand according to the law on immigration or born to the alien fathers or mothers who were permitted to provisionally or individually stay in the Kingdom on exceptional grounds, but these persons, despite being Thai nationals, are never loyal to Thailand and should therefore be deprived of Thai nationality, so that national security can be protected and preserved ”

“ A person who falls under article 1 and is born in the Kingdom of Thailand following the entry into operation of this Revolutionary Council Announcement shall not acquire Thai nationality, save where the Minister of Interior finds appropriate and gives a different order with individual effect. ”
