The German citizens of the United States have retained warm sympathy for the old fatherland, but if our consanguineous friends across the ocean intend to eradicate this sympathy they could not find better means than such groundless abuse of the American people. German-Americans are proud of their new fatherland and know how to appreciate its advantages and great qualities.
