David Carnegie Andrew Agnew Protestant Exiles from France… (1886)

This immigrant became a wealthy man, and is chiefly known as the father of two heiresses, Mary, wife of Lieutenant-Colonel Peter Le Keux, and Jane, wife of Edmund Jones. The latter seems to have had a son, Edmund Jones, who died unmarried, and a daughter and heiress with a fortune of £20,000, who assumed the name of Marescaux (or Marescoe, as the Historical Register spells it) , and gave her hand, in July 1735, to Richard Arnold, Esq., attorney.
