“ Reasons for the notice issued in terms of section 20 (a) of the Internal Security Act, 1982, to NOMZAMO WINNIE MANDELA:
I am satisfied that the said NOMZAMO WINNIE MANDELA is likely to propagate or promote activies which endanger or are calculated to endanger the security of the State or the maintenance of law and order. (b) Information which induced me to issue the said notice:
The information which induced me to issue the said notice cannot, in my opinion, be disclosed without detriment to the public interest. Given under my hand at Cape Town this 18th day of June 1983. ”

“ Any social gathering, that is to say, any gathering at which the persons present also have social intercourse with one another; (b) any political gathering, that is to say, any gathering at which any form of State or any principle or policy of the Government of a State is propagated, defended, attacked, criticized or discussed ”
