“ Common resident. Wyman (1912c:538) states that this species was not present in Idaho prior to about 1900, having at that time extended its range from Oregon.Phasianus colchicus Linnaeus. Ring-necked Pheasant. Common resident since its introduction; there is considerable admixture of races in the stock.Grus canadensis tabida (Peters) . Sandhill Crane. Uncommon resident. Merriam (1891:91) reports the bird breeding near Fort Lapwai, Nezperce County, in June 1871, and Davis (1935b:234) states that it is a regular migrant at the Minidoka Project. ”
