Portrait of Mark Lidzbarski Mark Lidzbarski Mandaïsche Liturgien — Prayer 90

When they want to lift up their heads they shall be cast down to the gates of darkness. I call out to my chosen ones, my plants, who stood by the Jordan. I say to them: "My sons, [walk] in my way, do not waver from the dam. He who wavers from the dam, lean on the way-stone. He who wavers from both sinks into the end of the world". You were victorious, Mandā d-Haijē, Good One, you who establish your friends. We, who praise our Herm, you will pardon our sins and transgressions. Life is upheld and is victorious, and victorious is the man who has gone here.
