Who are her young? These are Yisrael, who cry out (m'tzaf'tzefin) to her in many cries of prayer, and she comes down to them. To each one she brings down the food that is fitting for him: to this one she delivers the food of Torah which is the food of the Neshama; to another one she delivers bodily food; to each one according to his desire.

But the extra soul on Shabbat and Yamim Tovim and in every Mussaf, is the Ima Ilaah, the supplement of Ruach haKodesh; the prayer of the six weekdays three times daily is the Lower Shekhina, comprised of eighteen prayers three times daily, totaling in the six days to Cha"Y, life, so because of him it's called "tefilat kol-Pe"H." On weekdays food is brought to her by envoy, but on Shabbat and Yamim Tovim food is brought to her by the Holy Blessed One. Woe to a woman who is sustained by an envoy!

And when it rises it rises like a dove, and when it descends it dives like an eagle, for she is the Matronita, that has no fear of any worldly bird, and comes down with so many foods for her children, behold it's the scripture (Deut. 32:11) , "K'nesher ya`ir kinno `al-gozalaw y'rachef/ As an eagle that stirreth up her nest, hovering over her young."
