Morton is one of the most attractive women that have ever graced society in Washington. She is domestic in her tastes and takes deep interest in the education of her daughters. She is fond of reading and is a highly cultivated French scholar. Observation and travel have refined her taste in both art and literature. While the Vice-President and Mrs. Morton made Washington their home, the residence on Scott Circle dispensed a cordial hospitalitv during the social season.
