“ This is also true if multiple people did not make an eruv and they give their property to the many who did make an eruv, as an individual can be a guest of many, but many can not be the guests of many, nor can an individual be the guest of an individual. If two forgot to make an eruv, they can renounce their property; one of them must renounce his property to all of the residents of the yard, whether they renounce to the many who did not make an eruv as long as each one renounces to every person, or whether they renounce to one person who did not make an eruv. ”

“ This is also the case if there are only two residents and one renounced to his friend; the one who renounced is forbidden even from [removing things] from his friend's [house to the yard] , and his friend is permitted even regarding his own house. ”
