Permitted Ways to Get Food from a Store on a Holiday
באיזה אפן מתר לקח ביום טוב מן החנוני מיני מאכל
Paragraph 1 - The laws of getting eggs, nuts, or food and drinks from a store on a holiday are the same as for Shabbat (as was explained above in chapter 323 paragraph 4) . If [the storekeeper] is a non-Jew, it is forbidden to take things from him that come from the ground or need to be trapped, unless it is clear that they were not picked or trapped today. Similarly, one should not take eggs from him out of concern that they were laid today.
