“ Each day before dawn, we say the confessional three times, besides for the day before Yom Kippur when we say it only once (Rokeach) . We do not excommunicate people nor do we have people testify in court until after Yom Kippur (Mahari"l) . We do not sanctify the moon until the night after Yom Kippur. On the Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, it is the custom to say Tzidkatcha tzedek [at Mincha] . ”
