“ Paragraph 1 — One who cannot afford to purchase a Hanukkah light and a Sabbath light should purchase a Sabbath light for the sake of the well-being of his home. (And see above Section 263 Paragraph 3.) And if he has enough for the Sabbath [light] but does not have enough for [both] a Hanukkah light and wine for the daytime kiddush, he should purchase the Hanukkah light for the sake of publicizing of the miracle. ”
