Ord. 6 of 1991. 6. (1) The Consumer Protection (Amendment) Ordinance, 1991 is Repeal and saving. hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal Act as amended by this Act.

Vacancy in the office of the President. "18A. When the office of the President of the Ditrict Forum or of the State Commission, as the case may be, is vacant or when any such President is, by reason of absence or otherwise, unable lo perform the duties of his office, the duties of the office shall be performed by such person, who is qualified to be appointed as President of the District Forum or, as the case may be, of the State Commission, as the State Government may appoint for the purpose."
