“ The remaining provisions of Republic Act No. 6975, as amended by Republic Act No. 8551, otherwise known as the "Philippine National Police Reform and Reorganization Act of 1998", that have reference to the rank classification of the uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police, and all other laws, executive orders, rules and regulations inconsistent with the provisions of this Act shall be deemed modified or repealed accordingly. ”
