“ No person shall be excused from attending and testifying or from producing books, records, correspondence, documents, or other evidence in obedience to a subpoena issued by the Board on the ground that his testimony or the evidence required of him may tend to incriminate him or subject him to penalty or forfeiture ”

“ After a decision of the Secretary of Finance has become final either through confirmation by the President of the Philippines or through failure to appeal by the aggrieved party before the expiration of the time set for appeal, and said decision does not authorize importation upon payment of special customs duties, the Insular Collector of Customs shall order the exportation of the merchandise in question to the port of origin or to any other foreign port at the risk and expense of the owner ”

“ Out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated there is hereby appropriated the sum of one hundred thousand pesos or so much thereof as may be necessary to be expended by the Director of the Bureau of Health upon approval by the Secretary of Health and Public Welfare for the construction of a dormitory building and additional wards for the Maternity and Children's Hospital in the City of Manila, as well as for the purchase of hospital, medical and other necessary equipment and supplies for the said hospital. ”

“ In cases where evidence of guilt is not strong, and the person charged is entitled to bail and is granted the same, the court, upon application by the prosecutor, shall limit the right of travel of the accused to within the municipality or city where h/she resides or where the case is pending, in the interest of national security and public safety, consistent with Article III, Section 6 of the Constitution. ”

“ In the case of abandoned and forfeited goods no part of the surplus proceeds shall be returned to the owner of the merchandise. In case of the sale of other property, and surplus remaining after the satisfaction of all lawful charges as aforesaid shall be paid by the Collector to the owner, if known, otherwise it shall be retained by the Collector for ten days subject to the call of the owner. ”

“ Every person holding or possessing, in whatever capacity, treasury certificates not duly marked as above provided, shall present the same on or before November thirtieth, nineteen hundred and forty-six, for exchange with treasury certificates that have been duly marked as herein provided, to the Treasurer of the Philippines, to the treasurer of any province, chartered city, or municipality, or to any bank duly authorized to do business in the Philippines. ”

“ Any person, partnership, company, or corporation who or which shall engage in a new and necessary industry shall, for a period of four years from the date of the organization of such industry, be entitled to exemption from the payment of all internal revenue taxes directly payable by such person, partnership, company, or corporation in respect to said industry. ”

“ The special customs duties shall be equal to the difference between the purchase price or the exporter's selling price and the foreign market value of the merchandise when sold for home consumption, or, in the absence of such value, the cost of production thereof in the country of origin. ”

“ All persons or personnel appointed, designated or contracted by the Board shall not be subject to the Civil Service Law, rules and regulations.
The Board may appoint a secretary and assistant secretaries who shall be members of the Philippine Bar and who shall be empowered to administer oaths and affirmations and to issue summons, subpoena, and subpoena duces tecum by authority of the Board. ”

“ The possession of any instrument or implement which is directly useful in the manufacture of firearms or ammunition on the part of any person whose business or employment does not deal with such instrument or implemented shall be prima facie proof that such article is intended to be used in the manufacture of firearms or ammunition. ”

“ Preventing and combating terrorism program- The program shall focus on denying terrorist groups access to the means to carry out attacks to their targets and formulate response to its desired impact through decisive engagements. The program shall focus on operational activities to disrupt and combat terrorism activities and attacks such as curtailing, recruitment, propaganda, finance and ,logistics, the protection of potential targets, the exchange of intelligence with foreign countries, and the arrest of suspected terrorists ”

“ Composition of the Commission. The Commission shall be composed of eleven (11) commissioners, one of whom shall serve as Chairman. The commissioners shall represent the major Philippine languages, as defined in Section 3 of this Act: Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon and the major language of Muslim Mindanao; the Northern Cultural Communities; the Southern Cultural Communities; and such other Philippine languages or ethnolinguistic regions as the Commission may decide upon: provided, that at least four (4) of these commissioners shall also represent various disciplines. ”

“ The remaining provisions of Republic Act No. 6975, as amended by Republic Act No. 8551, otherwise known as the "Philippine National Police Reform and Reorganization Act of 1998", that have reference to the rank classification of the uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police, and all other laws, executive orders, rules and regulations inconsistent with the provisions of this Act shall be deemed modified or repealed accordingly. ”

“ The provisions of existing law to the contrary notwithstanding, provincial and municipal governments are hereby authorized to grant living bonus to their officers and employees not in excess of the schedule or rates fixed by the National Government for its officers and employees. ”

“ Any member of a band who is present at the commission of a robbery by the band, shall be punished as principal of any of the assaults committed by the band, unless it be shown that he attempted to prevent the same. ”

“ It shall be the duty of the President as soon as a loan is obtained or an indebtedness is incurred, to report to the Congress the amount of loan obtained and to submit a detailed program of expenditures for its approval. ”

“ Recruiting another person to serve in any capacity in or with an armed force in a foreign state, whether the armed force forms part of the armed forces of the government of that foreign state or otherwise ”

“ WHEREAS, to avoid any bias or partiality in the conduct of an investigation, there is a need to create an independent ad hoc fact-finding Board with plenary powers to determine the facts and circumstances surrounding the killing and to allow for a free, unlimited and exhaustive investigation into all the aspects of said tragedy ”

“ If the article illegally possessed is a rifle, carbine, grease gun, bazooka, machine gun, submachine gun, hand grenade, bomb, artillery of any kind or ammunition exclusively intended for such weapons, such period of imprisonment shall not be less than five years nor more than ten years. ”

“ No one shall be appointed as commissioner unless he/she is a natural-born Filipino citizen, at least thirty (30) years old, morally upright an noted for his/her expertise in linguistics, the culture and language of the ethnolinguistic region and the discipline he/she represents. ”

“ It shall be the duty of all collectors of customs at subports of entry, as well as customs' appraisers, to bring to the attention of the Insular Collector of Customs any case coming within their notice which may, in their opinion, require action by the Insular Collector of Customs as provided in this Act. ”

“ Terrorism. - Subject to Section 49 of this Act, terrorism is committed by any person who, within or outside the Philippines, regardless of the stage of execution:
(a) Engages in acts intended to cause death or serious bodily injury to any person, or endangers a person's life; (b) Engages in acts intended to cause extensive damage or destruction to a government or public facility, public place or private property; (c) Engages in acts intended to cause extensive interference with, damage or destruction to critical infrastructure ”

“ If any of the arms carried by any of said persons be an unlicensed firearm, it shall be presumed that said persons are highway robbers or brigands, and in case of conviction the penalty shall be imposed in the maximum period. ”

“ The Board shall have the power to review the evidence already submitted and determine which to accept and which to hear anew; to issue subpoena or subpoena duces tecum and other compulsory processes requiring the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of any evidence relative to any matter under investigation by the Board. ”

“ It is to be understood, however, that the exercise of the constitutionally recognized powers of the executive department of the government shall not prejudice respect for human rights which shall be absolute and protected at all times. ”

“ For any person to travel or attempt to travel to a state other than his/her state of residence or nationality for the purpose of perpetrating, planning, or preparing for, or participating in terrorism, or providing or receiving terrorist training ”

“ Protection of Most Vulnerable Groups. - There shall be due regard for the welfare of any suspects who are elderly, pregnant, persons with disability, women and children while they are under investigation, interrogation or detention.
Section 52. Management of Persons Charged Under this Act. - The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Bureau of Corrections (BuCoR) shall establish a system of assessment and classification for persons charged for committing terrorism and preparatory acts punishable under this Act. ”

“ Material Support shall refer to any property, tangible or intangible, or service, including currency or monetary instruments or financial securities, financial services, lodging, training, expert advice or assistance, safe houses, false documentation or identification, communications equipment, facilities, weapons, lethal substances, explosives, personnel (one or more individuals who may be or include oneself) , and transportation ”

“ In case of death of the applicant or in case he/she is physically disabled to execute the required affidavit, the one next in rank to the applicant among the members of the team named in the written order of the authorizing division of the Court of Appeals shall execute with the members of the team that required affidavit. ”
