Meaning and analysis

Kwize Master While Maria has made Malvolio look crazy and locked him up, she sends the clown disguised as a priest to meet him. Malvolio complains about the treatment he receives and in particular about the darkness of the room in which he finds himself; the clown then retorts that the only darkness that exists is that of ignorance.
