“ Service of documents A document may be served on an incorporated association by addressing it to the incorporated association and leaving it at, or by sending it by post to, the registered address of the incorporated association last notified under this Act to the Registrar. ”

“ An incorporated association is declared to be an excluded matter for the purposes of section 5F of the Corporations Act in relation to the whole of the Corporations legislation other than to the extent referred to in subsection (2) . ”

“ If the Registrar is satisfied that it is in the public interest that restricted personal information be released to a person who applies for it, the Registrar may release some or all of the information to the person on any condition that the Registrar thinks fit. ”

“ Regulations made under this Act may be disallowed in whole or in part by resolution of either House of the Parliament in accordance with the requirements of section 23 (2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 which disallowance is deemed disallowance by Parliament for the purposes of that Act. ”

“ Except as provided by subsections (4) (a) and (b) , this section does not affect the operation of any provision of this or any other Act in relation to the institution of proceedings in respect of offences that are prescribed offences for the purposes of this section. [58]
