“ Because thine heart has been exalted, and thou hast said, I am God, I have inhabited the dwelling of God in the heart of the sea; yet thou art man and not God, though thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God:και συ υιέ ανθρώπου ειπέ τω άρχοντι Τύρου τάδε λέγει Αδωναϊ κύριος ανθ ́ υψώθη η καρδία σου και είπας ο θεός ειμί εγώ κατοικίαν θεού κατώκησα εν καρδία θαλάσσης συ δε ει άνθρωπος και ου θεός και έδωκας την καρδίαν σου ως καρδίαν θεού 3art thou wiser than Daniel? ”

“ Behold, I will take the whole house of Israel out of the midst of the nations, among whom they have gone, and I will gather them from all that are round about them, and I will bring them into the land of Israel.και ερείς αυτοίς τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ιδού εγώ λαμβάνω πάντα οίκον Ισραήλ εκ μέσου των εθνών ων εισήλθοσαν εκεί και συνάξω αυτούς από πάντων των περικύκλω αυτών και εισάξω αυτούς εις την γην του Ισραήλ 22And I will make them a nation in my land, even on the mountains of Israel ”

“ When I shall make the city desolate, as the cities that shall not be inhabited, when I have brought the deep up upon thee,ότι τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος όταν δω σε πόλιν ηρημωμένην ως τας πόλεις τας μη κατοικηθησομένας εν τω αναγαγείν με επί σε την άβυσσον και κατακαλύψει σε ύδωρ πολύ 20and great waters shall cover thee ”

“ Behold, I will bring upon you the breath of life:τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος τοις οστέοις τούτοις ιδού εγώ οίσω εις υμάς πνεύμα ζωής 6and I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and will spread skin upon you, and will put my Spirit into you, and ye shall live ”

“ Thus have ye spoken, saying, Our errors, and our iniquities weigh upon us, and we pine away in them, and how then shall we live?και συ υιέ ανθρώπου είπον τω οίκω Ισραήλ ούτως ελαλήσατε λέγοντες αι πλάναι ημών και αι ανομίαι ημών εφ ́ ημίν εισι και εν αυταίς ημείς τηκόμεθα και πως ζησόμεθα 11Say to them, Thus saith the Lord; As I live, I desire not the death of the ungodly, as that the ungodly should turn from his way and live: turn ye heartily from your way ”

“ I will come upon them that are at ease in tranquility, and dwelling in peace, all inhabiting a land in which there is no wall, nor bars, nor have they doors;και ερείς αναβήσομαι επί γην απερριμμένην ήξω επί ησυχάζοντας εν ησυχία και οικούντας επ ́ ειρήνης πάντας κατοικούντας γην εν η ουχ υπάρχει τείχος ουδέ μοχλοί και θύραι ουκ εισίν αυτοίς 12to seize plunder, and to take their spoil ”

“ The Lord has forsaken the earth.και είπε προς με εώρακας υιέ ανθρώπου α οι πρεσβύτεροι του οίκου Ισραήλ ποιούσιν εν σκότει έκαστος αυτών εν τω κοιτώνι τω κρυπτώ αυτών διότι είπαν ουχ ορά ο κύριος εγκαταλέλοιπε κύριος την γην 13And he said to me, Thou shalt see yet greater iniquities which these do.και είπε προς με έτι όψει ανομίας μείζονας ας ούτοι ποιούσι 14And he brought me in to the porch of the house of the Lord that looks to the north ”

“ O city that sheds blood in the midst of her, so that her time should come, and that forms devices against herself, to defile herself;και ερείς τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ω πόλις εκχέουσα αίμα εν μέσω αυτής του ελθείν καιρόν αυτής και ποιούσα ενθυμήματα καθ ́ εαυτής του μιαίνειν αυτήν 4in their blood which thou hast shed, thou hast transgressed ”

“ I the Lord have spoken.και δώσω τους ποταμούς αυτών ερήμους και αποδώσομαι την γην εν χειρί πονηρών και αφανιώ την γην και το πλήρωμα αυτής εν χερσίν αλλοτρίων εγώ κύριος λελάληκα 13For thus saith the Lord God; I will also destroy the nobles from Memphis, and the princes of Memphis out of the land of Egypt ”

“ Your dead whom ye have smitten in the midst of it, these are the flesh, and thiscity is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.διά τούτο τάδε λέγει Αδωναϊ κύριος τους νεκρούς υμών ους επατάξατε εν μέσω αυτής ούτοι εισί τα κρέα αύτη δε εστι ο λέβης και υμάς εξάξω εκ μέσου αυτής 8Ye fear the sword ”

“ It shall also come to pass in that day, that thoughts shall come up into thine heart, and thou shalt devise evil devices.τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος και έσται εν τη ημέρα εκείνη αναβήσεται ρήματα επί την καρδίαν σου και λογιή λογισμούς πονηρούς 11And thou shalt say, I will go up to the rejected land ”

“ So they began with the elder men who were within in the house.πρεσβύτερον και νεανίσκον και παρθένον και νήπια και γυναίκας αποκτείνατε εις εξάλειψιν επί δε πάντας εφ ́ ους εστί το σημείον μη εγγίσητε και από των αγίων μου άρξασθε και ήρξαντο από των ανδρών των πρεσβυτέρων οι ήσαν έσω εν τω οίκω 7And he said to them, Defile the house, and go out and fill the ways with dead bodies, and smite.και είπε προς αυτούς μιάνατε τον οίκον και πλήσατε τας οδούς νεκρών και εκπορευόμενοι κόπτετε 8And it came to pass as they were smiting, that I fell upon my face, and cried out, and said, Alas, O Lord! ”

“ This is the caldron, and we are the flesh.οι λέγοντες ουχί προσφάτως ωκοδόμηνται αι οικίαι αύτη εστίν ο λέβης ημείς δε τα κρέα 4Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man.διά τούτο προφήτευσον επ ́ αυτούς προφήτευσον υιέ ανθρώπου 5And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said to me, say ”
