“ And Ju said, If your heart is with me, let there not go forth out of the city one fugitive to go and report to Jezrael.και απέστρεψεν Ιωραμ ο βασιλεύς ιατρευθήναι εν Ιεζραήλ από των πληγών ων έπαισαν αυτόν οι Σύροι εν τω πολεμείν αυτόν μετά Αζαήλ βασιλέως Συρίας και είπεν Ιού ει έστι ψυχή υμών μετ ́ εμού μη εξελθέτω εκ της πόλεως διαπεφευγώς του πορευθήναι και απαγγείλαι εν Ιεζραήλ 16And Ju rode and advanced, and came down to Jezrael; for Joram king of Israel was getting healed in Jezrael of the arrow-wounds wherewith the Syrians had wounded him in Rammath in the war with Azael king of Syria ”

“ I will also deliver Moab into your hand.και κούφη αυτή εν οφθαλμοίς κυρίου και παραδώσω την Μωάβ εν χείρας υμών 19And ye shall smite every strong city, and ye shall cut down every good tree, and ye shall stop all wells of water, and spoil every good piece of land with stones.και πατάξετε πάσαν πόλιν οχυράν και πάσαν πόλιν εκλεκτήν και παν ξύλον αγαθόν καταβαλείτε και πάσας πηγάς ύδατος εμφράξετε και πάσαν μερίδα αγαθήν αχρειώσετε εν λίθοις 20And it came to pass in the morning, when the sacrifice was offered, that, behold! ”

“ And they went to enquire of him.και έπεσεν Οχοζίας διά του δικτυωτού του εν τω υπερώω αυτού τω εν Σαμαρεία και ηρρώστησε και απέστειλεν αγγέλους και είπε προς αυτούς πορεύθητε και επερωτήσατε διά του Βάαλ μυίαν θεόν Ακκαρών ει ζήσομαι εκ της αρρωστίας μου ταύτης και επορεύθησαν επερωτήσαι 3And an angel of the Lord called Eliu the Thesbite, saying, Arise, and go to meet the messengers of Ochozias king of Samaria, and thou shalt say to them, Is it because there is no God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baal fly, the God of Accaron? ”

“ And Ezekias said, they came to me from a distant land, even from Babylon.και εισήλθεν Ησαϊας ο προφήτης προς Εζεκίαν τον βασιλέα και είπε αυτώ τι ελάλησαν οι άνδρες ούτοι και πόθεν ήκον προς σε και είπεν Εζεκίας εκ γης πόρρωθεν ήκον προς με εκ Βαβυλώνος 15And he said, What saw they in thy house? ”

“ And Elisaie said, Let her alone, for her soul is much grieved in her, and the Lord has hidden it from me, and has not told it me.και κατεύθυνε προς τον άνθρωπον του θεού εις το όρος και εκράτησε των ποδών αυτού και προσήλθε Γιεζί απώσασθαι αυτήν και είπε προς αυτόν ο άνθρωπος του θεού άφες αυτήν ότι η ψυχή αυτής κατώδυνος αυτή και κύριος απέκρυψεν απ ́ εμού και ουκ ανήγγειλέ μοι 28And she said, Did I ask a son of my lord? ”

“ So all the servants of Baal came, and all his priests, and all his prophets: there was not one left who came not. And they entered into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was filled from one end to the other.και απέστειλεν Ιού εν παντί Ισραήλ και ήλθον πάντες οι δούλοι του Βάαλ ου κατελείφθη ανήρ ος ου παρεγένετο και εισήλθον εις τον οίκον του Βάαλ και επλήσθη ο οίκος του Βάαλ στόμα επί στόμα 22And he said to the man who was over the house of the wardrobe, Bring forth a robe for all the servants of Baal. ”

“ And the men of the city said to him, It is the grave of the man of God that came out of Juda, and uttered these imprecations which he imprecated upon the altar of Baethel.και είπε τις ο σκόπελος εκείνος ον εγώ ορώ και είπον αυτώ οι άνδρες της πόλεως ο τάφος του άνθρωπου του θεού του εληλυθότος εκ του Ιούδα και επικαλεσάμενος τους λόγους τούτους ους εποίησας επί το θυσιαστήριον το εν Βαιθήλ 18And he said, Let him alone; let no one disturb his bones. ”

“ Chapter 8 1And Elisaie spoke to the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thy house, and sojourn wherever thou mayest sojourn: for the Lord has called for a famine upon the land; indeed it is come upon the land for seven years.και Ελισεαί ελάλησε προς την γυναίκα ης εζωπύρησε τον υιόν λέγων ανάστηθι και πορεύου συ και ο οίκος σου και παροίκει ου εάν παροικήσης ότι κύριος κέκληκε λιμόν επί την γην και παρέσται επί την γην επτά έτη 2And the woman arose, and did according to the word of Elisaie, both she and her house ”

“ And he smote them with blindness, according to the word of Elisaie.και κατέβησαν προς αυτόν και προσηύξατο Ελισεαί προς κύριον και είπε πάταξον δη το έθνος τούτο αορασία και επάταξεν αυτούς αορασία κατά το ρήμα Ελισεαί 19And Elisaie said to them, This is not the city, and this is not the way: follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom ye seek. ”

“ And he said, I will go up: thou art as I, I am as thou; as my people, so is thy people, as my horses, so are thy horses.και επορεύθη και απέστειλε προς Ιωσαφάτ βασιλέα Ιούδα λέγων βασιλεύς Μωάβ ηθέτησεν εν εμοί ει πορεύση μετ ́ εμού επι Μωάβ εις πόλεμον και είπεν πορεύσομαι όμοιός σοι όμοιος εμοι ως ο λαός σου ο λαός μου ως οι ίπποι σου οι ίπποι μου 8And he said, What way shall I go up? ”

“ I have counsel and strength for war. Now then in whom dost thou trust, that thou hast revolted from me?πλην λόγοι χειλέων και βουλή παράταξις γίνεται εις πόλεμον νυν ουν επί τινί πέποιθας ότι ηθέτησας εν εμοί 21See now, art thou trusting for thyself on this broken staff of reed, even upon Egypt? ”

“ And Ju said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn behind me.και απέστειλεν επιβάτην ίππου δεύτερον και ήλθε προς αυτών και είπε τάδε λέγει ο βασιλεύς ει ειρήνη και είπεν Ιού τι σοι και ειρήνη επίστρεφε εις τα οπίσω μου 20And the watchman reported, saying, He came up to them, and has not returned: and the driver drives Ju the son of Namessi, for it is with furious haste.και απήγγειλεν ο σκοπός λέγων ήλθεν έως αυτών και ουκ ανέστρεψε και η αγωγή ως αγωγή Ιού υιόυ Ναμεσσί διότι εν παραλλαγή εγένετο 21And Joram said, Make ready. ”

“ And he said, I will go.και είπεν ο εις επιεικώς δεύρο μετά των δούλων σου και είπεν εγώ πορεύσομαι 4And he went with them, and they came to Jordan, and began to cut down wood.και επορεύθη μετ ́ αυτών και ήλθον εις τον Ιορδάνην και έτεμνον τα ξύλα 5And behold, one was cutting down a beam, and the axe head fell into the water: and he cried out, Alas! master: and it was hidden.και εγένετο του ενός καταβάλλοντος τον δοκόν και εξέπεσεν εκ του στελέχους το σιδήριον εις το ύδωρ και εβόησεν και είπεν ω κύριε και αυτό κεκρυμμένον 6And the man of God said, Where did it fall? ”

“ And he led them away to Samaria.και είπε Ελισεαί προς αυτούς ουχι αύτη η πόλις και ουχ αύτη η οδός δεύτε οπίσω μου και άξω υμάς προς τον άνδρα ον ζητείτε και απήγαγεν αυτούς εις Σαμάρειαν 20And it came to pass when they entered into Samaria, that Elisaie said, Open, I pray thee, O Lord, their eyes, and let them see. And the Lord opened their eyes, and they saw ”

“ Chapter 1 1And Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Achaab.και ηθέτησε Μωάβ εν Ισραήλ μετά το αποθανείν Αχαάβ 2And Ochozias fell through the lattice that was in his upper chamber in Samaria and was sick ”

“ And Elisaie arose, and went after her.και είπεν η μήτηρ του παιδαρίου ζη κύριος και ζη η ψυχή σου ει εγκαταλείψω σε και ανέστη Ελισεαί και επορεύθη οπίσω αυτής 31And Giezi went on before her, and laid his staff on the child's face: but there was neither voice nor any hearing. ”
