“ Paragraph 1 - A man's wife can make an eruv without his knowledge, even if he has told her not to and he does not normally make an eruv with this group. This is only true if his presence will render them forbidden, like if his house is only open to this yard. However, if he is open to two yards, one in which he normally enters and exits such that he would render the others forbidden and one in which he does not enter and exit regularly, in the one that would render the others forbidden, she can make an eruv without his knowledge even if he normally does not make an eruv with them. ”
