Be it enacted by the State President, the Senate and the House of Assembly of the Republic of South Africa, as follows:―
Amendment of section 12 of Act 25 of 1961. 1. (1) Section twelve of the Marriage Act, 1961, is hereby amended by the insertion in paragraph (a) after the word “belongs” of the words “or where in the opinion of the minister of religion of the congregation in question or his duly authorized substitute he or she usually attends divine service”.
