Those who lived in the land of the shadow of death, on them the light has shined. 009:003 You have multiplied the nation. You have increased their joy. They rejoice before you according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. 009:004 For the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, you have broken as in the day of Midian. 009:005 For all the armor of the armed man in the noisy battle, and the garments rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire.

A city of awesome nations will fear you. 025:004 For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the dreaded ones is like a storm against the wall. 025:005 As the heat in a dry place will you bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the dreaded ones will be brought low. 025:006 In this mountain, Yahweh of Armies will make all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of choice wines, of fat things full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.

Whom called him to his foot in righteousness? He hands over nations to him, and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow. 041:003 He pursues them, and passes by safely, Even by a way that he had not gone with his feet. 041:004 Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Yahweh, the first, and with the last, I am he." 041:005 The islands have seen, and fear. The ends of the earth tremble. They approach, and come. 041:006 Everyone helps his neighbor. They say to their brothers, "Be strong!"
