Summary

Derek Hudson,  Arthur Rackham: His Life and Work… (1960)

“ The edition was to be limited to 600 sets, of which it was intended that the first 100 should have each plate signed by the artist. In fact only about 20 sets were so signed. An American edition of the same twelve plates, limited to 300 sets, was published by Brentano’s in New York in 1914. Some of Rackham’s illustrations for Peter Pan were used, reduced in size, for an edition retold for little people and published in 1930. ”
