The person has to have the opportunity to assert his or her rights. In particular, he or she has the right to have his or her close relatives informed. ”

“ Every Swiss man has to render military service. The law provides for an alternative service. (2) For Swiss women, military service is voluntary. (3) Swiss men who render neither military nor alternative service owe a tax. The tax is levied by the Federation and is assessed and collected by the Cantons. (4) The Federation adopts rules on fair compensation for loss of income. (5) Persons, who render military or alternative service and thereby suffer health impairment or lose their live, have the right, for themselves or for their relatives to appropriate support by the Federation. ”
