“ If a diplomat becomes disabled in the course of performing diplomatic duties in a foreign state which results in a partial loss of capacity for work, the state shall pay the diplomat a single benefit of up to one year's salary. ”

“ If the spouse of a diplomat works in a foreign mission, the foreign service allowance of the diplomat shall not be increased. The spouse of a diplomat shall be guaranteed medical and health insurance. ”

“ A diplomat is an official in the diplomatic or consular service who has received a diplomatic rank or diplomatic service rank and who is authorised to represent the Republic of Estonia in foreign relations. ”
