REGULATIONS CLARIFYING THE TERM `HOUSING FOR OLDER PERSONS'. The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall, not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, make rules defining what are ``significant facilities and services especially designed to meet the physical or social needs of older persons ́ ́ required under section 807 (b) (2) of the Fair Housing Act to meet the definition of the term ``housing for older persons ́ ́ in such section.

COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS— The Secretary shall provide funding to fair housing organizations and other nonprofit organizations representing groups of persons protected under title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, or other public or private entities that are formulating or carrying out programs to prevent or eliminate discriminatory housing practices, to support community-based education and outreach activities, including school, church, and community presentations, conferences, and other educational activities.
