IN GENERAL— The Attorney General, the Secretary of the Treasury, and the head of any other agency or instrumentality of the United States shall, unless otherwise prohibited by law, disclose to the appropriate Federal banking agency any information that the Attorney General, the Secretary of the Treasury, or such agency head believes raises significant concerns regarding the safety or soundness of any depository institution doing business in the United States.

The study shall also include analysis of the effect of allowing nondepositor licensed transmitters of funds to be reimbursed to the same extent as financial institutions under that section. (b) REPORT— Before the end of the 180-day period beginning on the date of enactment of this Act, the Attorney General shall submit a report to the Congress on the results of the study conducted pursuant to subsection (a) .
