“ Further, a decree from which an appeal may be taken must not only be final, but it must be one in which the matter in dipute, exclusive of costs, shall exceed the sum or value of two thousand dollars. The value of the subject-matter in controversy may be shown from the record, or by evidence aliunde, when it is disputed; and in this case the record discloses that to be such as would give the court jurisdiction ”
