“ Where any First Schedule biological agent that has been imported into Singapore is required to be stored temporarily at any place before it is delivered to the facility for which it is destined, the person to whom the permit to import the First Schedule biological agent has been granted shall ensure that the First Schedule biological agent is stored at a place which is safe and secure, and that the storage at such place is carried out in accordance with such requirements as may be prescribed. ”

“ Where a person who is not a member of the staff of a facility is required to carry out any work at the facility, the operator of the facility shall ensure that that person is made aware of the biological hazards associated with the storage of and activities involving biological agents and toxins carried out at the facility. ”

“ Where any approval or permit ceases to be valid or is suspended or cancelled, the Director or an enforcement officer may seize any biological agent or toxin to which the approval or permit relates, and any other material arising out of any activity carried out in relation to or in connection with the biological agent or toxin to which the approval or permit relates. ”
