“ Soþeli þis is þe comaundement, þat as ȝe herden at þe bigynnynge, in him walke ȝe. For many deceyuours wenten out in to þe world, whiche knowlechen not Jhesu Crist for to haue come in flesch; þis is a deceyuour and antecrist. Se ȝe ȝoure silf, lest ȝe leese þe þinges þat ȝe han wrouȝt, but þat ȝe receyue ful meede; witynge þat ech man þat goiþ awey, and dwelliþ not in þe techinge of Crist, haþ not God. He þat dwelliþ in þe techinge, haþ and þe sone and þe fadir. If ony man comeþ to ȝou, and bringeþ not to þis teching, nyle ȝe receyue him in to hous, neþer ȝe shulen seie to him, Heyl. ”
