And as þes þinges suffisen not to him, neþer he receyueþ briþeren, and forbediþ hem þat receyuen, and castiþ out of þe chirche. Moost dere, nyle þou sue yuel þing, but þat þat is good þing. He þat doiþ wel, is of God; he þat doiþ yuel, seeþ him not. Witnessing is ȝolde to Demetrie of alle men, and of treuþe it silf; but and we beren witnessing, and þou hast knowun, for oure witnessing is trewe. I hadde many þinges for to wrijte to þee, but Y wolde not wrijte to þee bi ynke and penne. Forsoþe I hope anoon for to see þee, and we shulen speke mouþ to mouþ. Pees to þee. Frendes greten þee wel.
