“ Judgment brought condemnation because of that sin, but the gift sets us right with God, despite our many sins. 17Because of one man’s sin, death ruled through him. But how much the more will those who receive God’s abundant grace and his gift of living right rule in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! 18Just as one sin brought condemnation on everyone, even so one right act made it possible for everyone to live right. 19Just as through one man’s disobedience many became sinners, even so through one man’s obedience many are made right. 20When the Law came along, sin was even more obvious. ”

“ I say that if you let yourself be circumcised you don't benefit from Christ. 3 Again, I swear that any person who allows themselves to be circumcised is obliged to obey the whole law. 4 If you are trying to be justified by the law then you are separated from grace and become a stranger to Christ. 5 By the spirit of faith we earnestly await the hoped-for righteousness. ”

“ Don't turn away from the Good News
6 I'm astonished at how quickly you turned away from him who called you in grace, and towards another good-news 7 (not that there is another) because of certain people who are agitating you and wishing to reverse the gospel of Christ. 8 Even if we or an angel from heaven were to proclaim a different good-news than what we originally preached, let him be eternally lost. 9 As we said before, we now say again: if anyone preaches to you another gospel than what you originally accepted, let him be eternally lost. ”

“ Yet hope that is already seen is not hope—for who hopes for what they already see? 25We hope for what we do not see yet, and we wait for it patiently.
26In just the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness—for we do not know how to pray properly, but the Spirit himself appeals on our behalf with sighs that cannot be put into words. 27The One who examines our hearts knows the way the Spirit thinks, and prays for us according to God’s will. 28And we recognize that all things work together for good for those who love God, those who are invited to be part of his plan. ”

“ Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased, through the foolishness of the proclamation, to save those who believe. 22Thus also, Jews are asking for signs and Greeks seeking wisdom, 23but we proclaim a crucified Christ—an offense to Jews and foolishness to the nations, 24except for those who are called, both Jews and Greeks—a Christ who is God's power and God's wisdom, 25because the folly of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God stronger than men. ”

“ Grace be with you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ,
2We give thanks to God always concerning you all, mentioning you in our prayers,
3Remembering unremittingly the faithful works of you all, the labour of love, and your patience in the expectation of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the presence of God our Father,
4Realising, beloved brothers, that you are chosen by God,
5For our Gospel message came to you not only in word, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, as you are aware of the type of men who are among you for your sake. ”

“ If God is for us, who is against us? 32He who did not hold back his own Son, but gave him up for all of us—how could he not freely give us everything? 33Who can charge God’s special people with anything? It is God who vindicates—34who can condemn? It is Christ Jesus who died—who was raised from the dead—who stands beside God, and who prays for us. ”

“ We don’t lose anything if we don’t eat it, and we don’t gain anything if we do.
9 But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble. 10 For if others see you—with your “superior knowledge”—eating in the temple of an idol, won’t they be encouraged to violate their conscience by eating food that has been offered to an idol? ”

“ Burst-out in shouting, the one not suffering birth pains. Because the desolate woman has many more children than the woman with a husband." 28 Brothers, you are children of promise, like Isaac; 29 and it's like that now: the son born of flesh persecutes the one born by the Spirit.
30 What does the scripture say?
"Cast out the slave woman and her son. For the child of the slave woman will not share the inheritance of the free child." 31 Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free. ”

“ For in the eyes of God, Abraham trusted in the God who makes the dead alive and speaks of what does not yet exist as reality. 18Abraham hoped against all hope and trusted God, that he might become the father of many peoples, just as God had promised, “Think how many descendants you will have!” 19His trust in God did not weaken even though he thought his body was as good as dead (he was around a hundred years old) , and knew that Sarah was too old to have children. 20He hung on to God’s promise, and did not doubt. ”

“ Hopefully not.
5 Was it by doing the law, or by hearing with faith, that you were lavished with the spirit and mighty works among you? 6 As Abraham believed God, it was credited to him as righteousness. 7 Know that the people of faith are the children of Abraham. 8 Having been foretold in the scriptures that God would justify the nations by faith, 9 therefore the good news was prophesied to Abraham: "People of faith are blessed by the belief of Abraham." ”

“ Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God. 5 There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and some people actually worship many gods and many lords. ”

“ Should we go on sinning so we can have more and more grace? 2Of course not! Since we have already died to sin, how can we live in sin any longer? 3Do you not realize that every one of us who was baptized into Christ Jesus was baptized into his death? 4Just as through baptism we were buried with him in death, so too we are raised from the dead like Christ through the glory of the Father, so that we can live a brand-new life. 5If we have been united with him in the same kind of death, then we will also be raised like him. ”

“ For when I was still among you, I told you these things.
6Likewise, presently, you see withholding such that this might be revealed at the proper time.
7For this hidden concept of unrighteousness is showing itself already at work, but is presently detained until it comes into existence from amongst us.
8And at that time this unrighteousness will be revealed which the Lord will destroy with the spirit of His mouth and put an end to it manifesting his presence.
9Whose presence is, according to the powerful work of the adversary, lying with all its powers and signs and miracles. ”

“ Do not destroy someone for whom Christ died with arguments over what you should eat. 16Do not let the good things you do be spoken of badly—17for God’s kingdom is not about eating and drinking, but living rightly, peacefully, and joyfully in the Holy Spirit. 18Whoever serves Christ like this pleases God, and is appreciated by people. 19So let us pursue whatever leads to peace, and find ways to build up each other. 20Do not demolish the work of God with arguments over food. Everything is clean—but it would be wrong for someone to eat and offend others. ”

“ Servants, through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave. 6I planted, Apollos watered, but God was giving growth. 7And so neither is the planter anything, nor the waterer, rather it is the grower—God. 8In fact, the planter and the waterer are one, though each will receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9For together with God we are co-workers—you are God's field, God's building. ”

“ You might destroy one another if you bite and devour each other.
16 I say: if you are walking by the spirit there is no way you will fulfill the desires of the flesh. 17 For what the flesh desires is against the spirit, and spiritual desires are against the flesh. 18 If you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law. ”

“ Was God unjust? Certainly not! 15As he said to Moses, “I will be merciful to whoever I show mercy, and I will have compassion on whoever I show compassion.” 16So it is not down to what we want, or what we run after, but the merciful nature of God. 17As Scripture records God’s words to Pharaoh: “I brought you to this for a reason—so that through you I could demonstrate my power, and so that my name could be made known throughout the earth.” 18So God is merciful to those he wishes to be, and hardens the hearts of those he wants to. ”

“ Now, it does not say "to his seeds," as if referring to many, but was referring to his one seed, who is Christ. 17 I say to you: this contract, ratified by God, was not annulled by the law which came four hundred and thirty years later.
18 If inheritance came via the law then it no longer comes by promise; but since God gave Abraham a promise, 19 then why the law? It was added through angels, on orders of the mediator, because of sin until the coming of the seed to whom the promise was given. 20 A mediator is not for just one party, but God is one. ”

“ But while knowledge makes us feel important, it is love that strengthens the church. 2 Anyone who claims to know all the answers doesn’t really know very much. 3 But the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes. ”

“ They are God’s servants to punish sternly those who do wrong. 5So it is important to do as you are told, not just because of the threat of punishment, but because of what your conscience tells you. 6That is why you pay taxes, because as God’s servants they are always taking care of such things. 7So pay whatever is due, tax to the tax-collectors, custom dues to the customs, respect to those who should be respected, honor to those who should be honored. 8Do not owe anybody anything, except love for one other—for whoever loves their neighbor has kept the law. ”

“ With a rod should I come to you, or with love and a spirit of gentleness?
Chapter 5
1It is heard everywhere that there is sexual immorality among you, such immorality as is nowhere among the nations, since some man has his father's wife. 2And you are filled with pride! But isn't it better you grieved? So that he would have been cast from your midst, he who did this deed. 3For although being absent in the body, I am still present in the spirit. ”
