A., and addressed to Philip III., proposing that instead of bringing to Madrid for inspection the Register called “del Testamento Viejo,” and other books of the “Contaduria Mayor de Cuentas de Portugal,” where the names of all debtors to the “Real Hazienda” are entered, persons should be appointed to go to Lisbon and examine them there. On the margin is the King’s holograph decree: “Está muy bien y proponganseme personas para ir a esto” f. ”
