“ IN GENERAL— The second sentence of section 303 (a) (2) (A) of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation Act (12 U.S.C. 1452 (a) (2) (A) ) is amended— (A) by striking `and ́ after the second comma; and (B) by inserting before the period at the end the following: `, and at least 1 person from an organization that has represented consumer or community interests for not less than 2 years or 1 person who has demonstrated a career commitment to the provision of housing for low-income households ́. ”

“ The Affordable Housing Advisory Council shall consist of 15 individuals, who shall include representatives of community-based and other nonprofit and for-profit organizations and State and local government agencies actively engaged in the promotion, development, or financing of housing for low- and moderate-income families. ”

“ The corporation may impose charges or fees, which may be regarded as elements of pricing, with the objective that all costs and expenses of the operations of the corporation should be within its income derived from such operations and that such operations should be fully self-supporting. ”
